A well-detailed product page is the foundation of a great quote. Here are some tips to make your products stand out and save you time in the long run.
1. Link Images to Colors
Instead of just uploading a gallery of images, you can link each image to a specific color variant. When you use this product in a quote, the system will be able to show the exact product image that corresponds to the color you've quoted.
How to do it:
- On the Product edit page, first add your available colors in the "Colours" field (e.g., 'Black, Navy, White').
- Upload all your product images.
- Hover over an image thumbnail. A "Link Color" button will appear.
- Click it and select the matching color from the dropdown list.
Now, your catalogue quotes will look much more professional and specific.
2. Manage Reusable Certifications
Many products share common certifications like WRAP, GOTS Organic, or Fair Trade. Instead of manually adding these details every time, you can create a central library of certifications directly from the product page.
How to set it up:
- When editing a product, navigate to the "Certifications" section.
- Click the "+" button to open the selection popover.
- Here you can either select an existing certification from the list or click "+ Add New" to upload a new certification logo and name on the fly.
- Once a new certification is added, it is saved to your workspace and will be available to select for all other products, saving you from uploading it again.
This not only saves time but also ensures consistency. These logos will appear on your catalogue-style quotes, helping clients easily compare the features and qualities of the products you've offered.
💡 Pro Tip
Taking a few extra moments to link images and add certifications when you create a product pays dividends later. It makes your quotes more automated, professional, and helps your clients make decisions faster.
